News Sniffer is a site dedicated to monitoring corporate news organisations to uncover bias.
I guess a lot of people don’t realize how filtered, biased and untrue a lot of the news we read and see is.
Currently the site only monitor’s the bbc but according to the site they will start monitoring more sites soon.

this is such a good idea, the toronto star is now offering a downloadable pdf version of an afternoon newspaper called Star P.M.
It’s not as though the main paper is going to this format, i think that’s still years away but this is a really good step in the right direction if you ask me. [...]

It seems that Lloyd Landis (who just won the tour de france) has tested positive for higher than normal levels of testosterone… a disturbing trend (if true) of shortcutting your way to the winners circle in a lot of today’s major sports. Imagine what the kids watching this stuff are thinking?
