ok so I am still in arcade fire heaven but todays song is from funeral, which sounds like it should be really sad and depressing and it kinda is but the first song on the album Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels) makes me think of really really happy times when I was a kid. If I was going to make a top 25 albums of all time this one would be on it for sure.

it’s so nice to hear music that isn’t based entirely on 3 guitar riffs but that isn’t so abstract and out there that you can’t feel a personal connection with it. and i think that is what is so great about this song, you can connect with it!
