week #2 of waiting for a new phone
As a part of work it started to make real sense for me to get a blackberry. We offer 24/7 support but we don’t all want to be chained to our desks makes sense, right?
I just switched to rogers about 8 months ago, because it hasn’t been a full year I am not technically allowed to get a hardware (phone) upgrade.
That being said, there are always ways around these problems. I was able to get the hardware upgrade through rogers’ promotional department. Great! I am wicked happy because I will be getting a blackberry pearl!
The one hitch with this route is that i can’t go into the store and get the phone, I have to wait for the promotions department to ship the phone to me. Ok I think i can handle that!
So one week goes by, I call them up to find out that the pearls are out of stock and i won’t be getting it this week and that i should call back monday (today) to check in.
So I call up this morning to find out that they still don’t have any in stock and that it will be a couple more days to wait.
Ted Rogers if you are reading this, send me my phone please.
