yup google bought you tube

and the more i think about the more i think the reason they did has nothing to do with video services.  I think it has more to do with buying a customer base to deliver web based software too (how will they tie gmail and gcal into the youtube services?)

the other one is obviously they have some kind of technology that will allow advertising to be delivered and eliminate the copyright hassles that youtube has been having.

guess we’ll have to wait and see.
