SEC Will Require All Companies To Report in XBRL

This is going to mean big changes for publicly traded companies over the next 3 years.  It will also effect the way a lot of the technology companies that service the financial sector operate as well (for us too I’m sure).
“THE U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is converting its EDGAR database to Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) and all companies will be required to submit their filings in the new interactive financial tagging format.”
