With some data in hand could you make a local search engine in 24 hours? Well, that is exactly what someone has done with Local Brit. With everything needing to be done in a day, you would expect corners to be cut, but everything, from the design to the search, just works.

this isn’t the first article i’ve read over the last week or so about people taking really short periods of time, an idea and coming up with something that is usable and functional (in fact me and some co-workers did it this weekend!)

it’s a testament to where the technology we work with has gone to… with small teams and little or no management barriers to market are getting smaller and smaller.
